We will need the following information:

• Visa/MasterCard number, card expiration date, person’s name on the card.
• Date and TIME of arrival.
• Departure date.
• Type of accommodation required: number/gender of dorm beds OR private room for how many persons.

Don't have a credit card to hold your reservation? Mail us a check or money order as a deposit for the first night’s stay. Deposit must be received at least five (5) business days prior to the first day of the reservation.

Please note that our desk hours are 8-10am and 5-10pm, but you may arrive at another time as long as you have a secured reservation. If you plan to arrive when the desk is closed: When you complete your reservation, we will give detailed instructions for arrival outside desk hours.

If you do not have a secured reservation, you must check in during desk hours: 8-10am and 5-10pm.

Our Cancellation Policy:

The cancellation deadline for a reservation of three (3) or fewer dorm beds is 10pm the day before the reservation begins. The cancellation deadline for a private room or a reservation for four (4) or more dorm beds is 10pm three days before the reservation begins. We charge the full amount of the first night’s stay if you cancel after the deadline or no-show for your reservation.

Rooms & Rates

We have male, female, and mixed dorms. The price of a dorm bed is $25 for members of Hostelling International, $28 for those who are not members. Children under 14 traveling with family stay at ½ price. To book a bed online, click here.

Dormitories may also be booked as private rooms. To check availability and make a booking for a private room, contact us directly at stay@hostelbuffalo.com or call 1-716-852-5222 (8-10am and 5-10pm). Rates for 1-2 people for a private room start at $60 per room per night.

Prices quoted include all bed linens and a towel. Tax will not be added to the price quoted.

Hostel amenities:

• Bed linens and a towel included in the price
• Fully equipped kitchen with adjacent dining area; free tea & coffee available at all times
• Neighborhood grocery store a 3-minute walk from the hostel
• Laundry machines: $1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry, free soap powder
• Internet access ($1 for 15 minutes) and free Wi-Fi connection
• Pay telephone without the pay-phone surcharge to pre-paid phone cards
• Small and full-size lockers—bring your own padlock (padlocks also for sale)
• Bag storage on day of departure (until 10pm): free
• Day use on day of departure (until 10 pm): $7
• Comfortable common areas
• 24-hour access for registered guests
