What to see and do nearby
Welcome to the very unique city of Buffalo. Don’t let the quiet street that the Hostel is located on fool you as to the variety of things to see and do.
Near to the Hostel are three areas with both night and daylife. Beyond these areas, Buffalo is quite spread out. If you do venture out to these, you will be rewarded with interesting and often attractive neighborhoods scattered about the region.
Many of these sectors are quite picturesque thanks to the ample number of beautiful buildings and homes to be found in and around the city.

For local bars and clubs:
Chippewa – Ground zero for major partying with a wild dance and drink scene – open 'till late (4am) on weekends, but much quieter during the week
Allentown – Cozy, small venues with varied atmospheres with some gay bars.
Elmwood Village – This area has more to see in the daytime. Here, upscale crowds, coffee shops, bars, stores and restaurants dominate the panorama. There are some cool clubs with local crowds on select days of the week
Chippewa is the closest area to the Hostel, with Allentown and Elmwood village further away, but still within a 10-20 minute walk.
When you get to the hostel ask about the local activities and things to see nearby.
