Hostel Buffalo-Niagara

Unfortunately we were shuttered by the City of Buffalo due to an adjacent rear building that was neglected by our landlord, BURA, who is also the City of Buffalo

Est. 1996, we are Niagara Falls & Buffalo's longest-running not-for-profit independent hostel! We serve as a communal homestead to travelers, domestic & abroad visiting Buffalo, Niagara Falls, NY & Canada, & the WNY region.

Twin Bed Listings (Coed, Male, Female Dorms) are in shared dorm-style rooms with shared bathrooms.

At the moment, dorm rooms will not exceed half capacity.

Specifically, listed private rooms #1 & #2 are in a smaller, cozier room with a full-sized bed with shared bathrooms.

There is a 2-night minimum stay.

Are you looking for something in particular? Inquiring about a group stay? Have a gig here and need an extended stay? Independent touring cyclist passing through?

Downtown Bus Terminal/
Greyhound Bus Station

The downtown Greyhound station is about a 15-20 minute walk to the hostel (1.6 miles).  The easiest way to get here is on foot or by the above-ground subway train that runs on Main Street (Church Station to Fountain Plaza Station).  Walk west out of the Station (towards Ellicott & Washington Streets) to Main St and turn right onto Main. The hostel will be about 6 blocks down the road on the right-hand side. We are on the opposite of the large "Shea's Buffalo" sign a little further down directly across from Alleyway Theater--(if you get to Tupper St you've gone too far).

International Airport

The Buffalo-Niagara International Airport is about 10 miles away. There are taxi services available, as well as Uber, Lyft.

By Bus: $2 (correct change needed). Get on #24 downtown and get off at Washington & Chippewa Streets. From there, head west on Chippewa, make a right onto Main St. We will be about a block down on the right.
